Before the project commenced, each new release would take around 9 months to complete due to the manual approach that was taken to tracking and correcting errors. Even after this significant time period, quality output could not be guaranteed.
Automation Logic were engaged to help drive more efficient use of infrastructure, for example, only have 6 EETE’s [end-to-end test environments] if absolutely necessary, not if they are standing idle, to increase productivity and decrease cost. As well as to build an elastic infrastructure and improve configuration management.
From the initial 9-month release cycle, upon completion of the project, the time was reduced to a mere two and a half hours. The whole process was automated, decreasing labour costs and accelerating time to deliver without the risk of human error. This led to a significant improvement in quality and turnaround time.
